Hosted by: Michael Larrick

Featuring Comedians:

Jon Mumma: Jon started his comedy career in Washington, DC by pursuing stage time wherever he could get it. Over the past seven years, he has performed at comedy clubs, theatres, bars, coffee shops, bowling alleys, a bachelorette party, a ”naturist resort,” crab feasts, bar mitzvahs, birthday parties, corporate events, moose lodges, weddings, high schools, colleges, cafeterias, military bases and many more. These experiences helped forge a likeable character onstage with crossover appeal to a wide range of audiences. Jon’s persistence and hardwork has allowed him to work at some of the top clubs in the country performing with some of the nation’s top headliners including Ben Bailey, Carlos Mencia, Charlie Murphy, and the late Greg Giraldo. He was the 2006 winner of the DC Improv’s annual stand-up comedy competition; he has performed for our nation’s troops, and he can be heard regularly on SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s Comedy Channel.

Tim Miller: Tim Miller's aggressive but endearing comedy style creates a show worth seeing more than once. His life as a sheltered son of Pentecostal ministers from Waco, TX, and working at the White House (during three administrations) has made for an energetic comedy style that combines an engaging stage presence with a sarcastic zing.  Tim started doing stand-up after 8 years in the US Army. After five years he has slowly began trying to leave his professional day job in Washington DC and go head first into wherever the entertainment industry would take him. Since then, Tim has worked with todays biggest names in comedy from Pablo Francisco, Daniel Tosh, Ted Alexandro, and Bob Marley. After performing at the DC Comedy Fest, he was named one of the funniest in Washington DC in a 2006 DC Improv showcase.

Jared Stern: Jared has been making complete strangers laugh at him for over a decade. From humble beginnings at a hole-in-the-wall club in Baltimore, he is now the most humble person in the world, not that he’s one to brag about it. He was recently told that his comedy was “top drawer”, which is where he keeps his socks and underwear, so that makes sense. During his career he has performed with the likes of Louis C.K., Judah Friedlander, Richard Lewis, Tom Arnold, John Witherspoon, and Caroline Rhea. He’s been featured on the 2012 Season of PBS’s “The Truth About Money.” You can hear his comedy played on XM Radio. His album, Strangers Laugh at Me, was recently transcribed in the Library of Congress.

Rob Maher: Rob Maher is a regular performer at the DC Improv and is a Funny Bone favorite.  He is a two time finalist in Comedy Central’s Laugh Riot Competition and can be heard regularly on Baltimore’s 98 Rock.  Rob’s had the fortunate opportunity to go overseas and perform for our troops. He’s performed throughout the Middle East including Afghanistan as well as tours in Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Italy and Egypt.  You can also hear Rob every week on his podcast, the Rob and Joe Show. www.robandjoeshow.com
